The show has won Tony, Grammy, and Drama Desk awards and has been regarded as a classic for 30 years with many Broadway revivals.

Theatre Siena’s rendition will be directed by Michael Yuen, an Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Siena Heights University. Of the show, Yuen notes, “It has been an honor to work on this production with the cast and crew.  The students always bring such a vibrancy to the stage, and it is truly remarkable to watch that energy paired with such a celebrated work.”
